I pre-ordered the black series turtle on Dec 30. No news yet as to when it'll arrive.

That’s awesome! May I ask where you pre-ordered it from?

The japanese model is SBDY005 and is limited to 300 pieces.
The international model is SRPC49, but strangely no production numbers have been announced yet even on the Seiko USA page.

I preordered the SBDY005 from rakuten on the first day preorders started appearing. I'm hoping my order doesn't get cancelled because 300 really isn't a lot and I suspect some stores may have oversold.

The chrono looks good. I might be tempted but will need to check the size given the specs of a 43.5mm diameter.

You should search Seiko Recraft in Amazon. There are some pretty nice watches. Unfortunately, the ones I like are all too big for my wrist.
If I saved all of the money I spent on watches I'd probably buy a watch.

I like the look of the first 2 but not the chrono so much.
