Speedy moon or Daytona are 2 that come to mind.

I love my seawolf chrono. I bought it new from AD in 2009 or 2010 and I love it as much as I did on day one

Speedy is out since you want a date and water water resistance, Daytona is out for lack of the date.

AP ROO Chrono or Zenith El Primero come to mind.

The El Primero is also a good choice. It's been on my wAnt list for awhile now.

Another vote for the IWC Aquatimer, comfy, sporty and the lume is out of this world.

Steel. Date. Excellent quality. Relatively inexpensive so good for daily wear. Waterproof. I'm sure if you searched around you could find a well fitting rubber strap. This or the blue dial would be my first choice, with the Omega PO chrono a very close second.

For regular daily activities and a good wash in the sink you donít need any special water resistance. Just be sure to get it pressure tested regularly. 20m means 20m. So anything youíre throwing at a Speedy should be fine. Just donít operate the pushers wet.
