Looking for Omega band but none have hole for buckle?

    Hi,
I have been looking at original leather and/or alligator bands from Omega, and the ones for buckles all don't seem to have the little hole where the pin on the buckle comes out. Do you have to make this hole yourself?
    Thanks

Sounds like you're looking at straps for a delpoyant not tang buckle

No, I'm looking at the ones for the tang buckle. I can't see any hole for the tang. Same with aftermarket bands. It could be that they are just not visible I guess.

If the listing clearly states it's for a tang buckle the hole for the pin must be there. I've yet to see a strap without one meant for one. Either not visible on poor photography or it's misrepresented and it is a photo of a strap for a deployant.

I might suggest posting a photo or a link to what you’re looking at for others to weigh in on what you’re looking at. But it does sound like it was a strap meant for the deployant rather than tang buckle. Try a search for Omega deployant strap.

Deployant straps look like this. Holes on one side. No gap on the other as with a tang buckle. Only a channel for the springbar to attach the deployant clasp.
