$1850 2021 Sinn 556i B - Time only, full kit

Up today and rarely seen on the secondary market, is the Sinn 556i with a blue dial that is rather palpable transitions to a warm indigo in favourable lighting.

One of my first German timepieces was a 556a, however with its matte dial and rather monotone look, it never really spoke to me.

Unlike most 556 models, the handset and hour markers on this piece are high polished to a degree one would expect from a more dressy timepiece and coupled with a brushed case and bracelet, Sinn seems to have struck a beautiful balance for this 38.5mm tank of a watch that tows the line between casual and dressy; and with a time only complication, it’s the perfect affordable answer to the “one watch collection” debacle.

Asking $1850 for this truly breathtaking German made timepiece.
