Up for grabs one of sweetest IWC I’ve come across in a while.
Increasingly wearable the longer you own it, the watch begs you to grab and wear it.
At a crowd pleasing size of 39mm, 48mm lug to lug, 11.5mm thickness, 20mm lug width and a versatile croc strap that has patina’d with grace, the watch is as handsome today as it was when initially sold in 2008.
The standout feature of the watch however remains the dial, that is equal parts tool and dressy.
Adorned with applied numerals except for at the cardinal markers, the lume application only showcases how much better they have done and can do.
The broad sword hands have never been more tooltastic and legible, outshining even the current lineup.
Where it does depart from the tool vibes is the tuxedo style inner dial brushed in a concentric format, outlined by the markers on the exterior dial.
This adds a touch of dress to a watch that has been otherwise been pared down.
The watch runs amazingly and while there is no recorded service history, accuracy is at +5s/day and an amplitude over 270, which indicates a service in recent years.
Overall condition of the watch is excellent for the age, just some dulling to the polished portion due to wear/tear/age.
The watch comes with original warranty card, booklet, and unbranded service pouch.
Strap and buckle are also OEM.
