Hey Folks
Up today I have what has likely been every collectors grail at one point or another, the quintessential do-it-all watch, the Explorer.
Until recently, it has arguably been the neo vintage go to for those of us collectors who would prefer a modern feeling rolex without paying modern pricing.
While some might prefer the more robust feel to the updated 124270 or the 224270/214270, the 114270 with it’s solid end links is quite the challenger and will continue to be a fan favourite for decades.
The case of this watch has very faint signs of wear mainly on the polished and similar faint hairline to one or two links/clasp.
There are a total of 11 links, minus the end links and minus the links attached to either end of the clasp, 3 of which are removable links.
The watch is sized for my 7.5” wrist with a couple more microadjustments available to accomodate a wrist up to approx 8”
The watch keeps time at approx +3/+4s a day and a hearty amplitude of 278
This model feistiness the engraved rehaut with the serial number at 6 on the rehaut.
This kit comes with everything pictured, both tags, manual, booklets, warranty card and double boxed.
This is the same watch that was listed a few months ago at almost 9k right here in the forum.
Grab it today for $7888 f2f in the GTA, over $1k less than the previous time it was up for sale.
