Hey folks
Up today I have what is quite likely the ultimate Rolex that money can buy.
The SD4Kc (as there are other models called the SD4K) is truly a gem as it’s one of the few modern Sea Dwellers that boast a very wearable 40mm sizing, coupled with a ceramic bezel and the ever so coveted non cyclops date aperture.
This model houses the Caliber 3135 movement and still yields over 48 hours of power reserve.
The watch runs at +1s a day and a strong amplitude of 302.
While wearing much like the current generation submariner, you get almost 4 times the water resistance with this heavy weight.
The watch has some signs of wear to the case and clasp, nothing serious and for its age, quite excellent. It is currently sized for a 7.5” with an extra link and the divers extension in the box.
The watch comes as a complete kit with Inner/ outer box, cards and manual, extra links and green tag.
There are 5 removable links and the divers extension makes 6, not including the links attached to the clasp.
There’s a notable uptick in the desirability of this model in the recent years and while I don’t recommend watches as investments, if there ever was one that would be a rather safe bet, it’s this one as it was only produced for 3 years between 2014-2017.
I’m asking $20,575 for this beauty f2f GTA or shipping at cost.
