Hey folks
Up today I have one of my favourite pieces from Tudor, the Heritage Chronograph in Opaline Blue, ref M70330B-0004 referred to as the “Montecarlo” owing to its strong derivations from the 1971 Tudor Chronograph 7100 series which were nicknamed as such as the dials were reminiscent of the roulette wheels, seemingly at the tables in Montecarlo.
At 42mm, the watch you see here has some wear signs on the clasp and some links near the clasp, nothing earth shattering.
The colour way is rather playful and makes for a fun addition into the collection with the bimcompax dial layout and date at 6 bringing a very clean and well thought out aesthetic to the watch face. The bi-directional rotating bezel is a nicer touch in my opinion as it can be used as an elapsed time recorder, should a 45 minute sub-counter be too small a time interval for you to record.
Asking $4095 for this fun little piece
