Hey folks

Up today I have my best bargain entry into the world of Grand Seiko.

Every bit the looker as it’s Snowflake counterpart, without the textured dial, this piece boasts a 40.5mm casing with a beautiful mix of Zaratsu polished and brushed surfaces.

The blued seconds hand set against a clean white dial that Grand Seiko manages to do with ease, makes for a classic watch that looks every bit at home on bracelet or a classic blue leather.

Unlike it’s snowflake counterpart, the heft of this watch is felt in its stainless steel casing assuring you of a quality timepiece that looks the money.

Powering the watch is the GS 9S85 Hi-Beat 36,000 BPH movement, that is nearly as mesmerizing as it’s spring drive brethren.

This is a local Canadian piece with an open date on the warranty card.

Condition is excellent save for a few hairlines and a flea bite I’ve encircled.
