Hey folks
Up for grabs is the highly sought after Le Petit Prince Edition of the Mark XVIII series.
The model naming convention thoughtfully blended the impeccable craftsmanship of the brand with a touch of literary charm.
The stunning midnight blue dial has yet to be bested and remains by far, one of my favourite blue dials produced by a brand, boosted by the blue hue of the AR coating.
Powering the watch is the caliber 35111 automatic movement beating at a steady -1/0s a day.
There are a handful of watches that do the boardroom/beach shuffle well and the Mark XVIII is one of them, especially on the engineering marvel of a bracelet.
Condition wised the watch has some minor signs of wear with some desk dive marks on a couple polished bits of the bracelet. The edges of the case remain sharp, though the polished chamfers have dulled a bit, but are still pronounced when the light hits. The crown screws down flush, but does require a little more force to screw in.
Sized for my 7.5” wrist just right, there are 2 additional links in this complete package, which is more infrequent than I’d like to admit.
Overall this is a timepiece that harmonizes elegance and precision for a bargain of $3999 in the GTA
