Arguably the submariners better, with cues of an Explorer and a feeding off the Memovox vibes, this watch is every bit as classy as it is versatile.
Aside from the obvious difference of the date on this model vs the standard Polaris’ lack of the same, this model comes in at 42mm with 200m water resistance.
The dial is incredibly legible with a grained outer texture with the minute track separating the inner matte dial.
An outboard dive scale operated by the 2 o clock crown results in a suited up sports watch.
Straps are usually an afterthought for most brands but this fitted rubber strap is both sturdy and supple, thicker near the lugs and thinning toward the clasp to ensure comfort; it also features a clous de Paris pattern that adds additional grip when wet.
Pictured on my 7.3” wrist the watch fits like a 40mm piece thanks to a lug to lug of 48.5mm and a thickness of 12.9mm
This Polaris ref Q9068670 carries a 2019 date and has had a functional check performed this month, invoice included.
Warranty on this piece runs until 2027.
This package is a full kit, double boxed with manual, service receipt and warranty card,
There are minor hairlines to the clasp and polished chamfers on the case but nothing significant.
