Up today I have one of the simplest and most versatile Grand Seikos in the Elegance lineup, the SBGW231.
What this piece lacks in ruggedness, it makes up for in sophistication and panache.
Coming in at a 37.5mm, this watch steals the show when on wrist as it oozes class and harkens to a more accessible Calatrava aesthetic.
The watch comes as a full kit dated 2021.
Regardless of how many times I’ve owned examples of this model, it still draws me in with how something so simple can be so beautiful.
The 231 does not disappoint with its ease of wearability and as with most GS, pictures don’t do it justice
The watch is in close to mint condition with the only discernible signs of wear on the crown side of the case, near the bottom lug. The original strap hasn’t been used much and still has lot of life left.
Warranty remains until mid 2025
