Hey folks,
Up today I have one of the simplest and most versatile Grand Seikos in the Elegance lineup, the SBGW231.
What this piece lacks in ruggedness, it makes up for in sophistication and panache.
Coming in at a 37.5mm, this watch steals the show when on wrist as it oozes class and harkens to a more accessible Calatrava aesthetic.
The watch comes as a full kit dated 2021.
I’m also including an aftermarket olive green delugs leather strap for a more casual look.
I’ve had this watch many times and it’s always been a wrist magnet.
The 231 and 235 have been getting a lot more love and attention in the past few months thanks to Grand Seikos green and blue dial variants from the SBGW persuasion.
As with most GS, pictures don’t do this piece justice
The watch is in very good condition with very minor signs of wear by way of hairlines.
I’m letting this go at a very accessible $4100 f2f in the GTA or $4150 shipped
