Up for grabs is one of the nicest IWC references I’ve come across thus far, the ref IW371606, featuring a 41mm case, 48mm lug to lug and a 13mm height. This is as sweet spot as sizing can get.
This is by far one of my favourite blue dials, with a spectacular sunburst that showcases great depth, supplemented by the high polished hour markers and recessed minute markers.
The in house movement features a vertical clutch, providing smooth actuation at start and stop.
The mix of polished and satin finishes accentuate the curves of this throwback to the 30s design and adds a touch of elegance from the era.
