Hey folks
Up today I have a rather special variation of the DSOTM lineup.
Similar in sizing and case to the original DSOTM at 44.25mm, this seemingly large watch comes in at 99g total weight and wears akin to a 42mm speedy. Something to consider is the lug to lug at 49.7mm.
The DSOTM in my opinion represents the strides Omega has taken both in the technological and horological avenues, i.e.
it stays true to the Speedmaster heritage while employing the use of ceramic to a much higher degree than most other brands.
Compared to the other DSOTM variants, I find this Bicompax layout more legible owing to the fauxtina tones of the sub register hands, not to mention the fully lumed bezel.
The caliber 9300 is a true beast at 28,800 VPH featuring a column wheel mechanism viewed through a sapphire caseback I can only compare to a floor to ceiling window in comparison to other casebacks.
This model DSOTM comes on a non grained brown calf leather and per my wife looks like Im headed off on a desert mission, though she could have meant dessert, I’m not too sure.
Regardless, I took this to mean that it looks badass and that, it certainly does.
This reference 311.92.44.51.01.006 is dated 2021 from a local Canadian AD, and is a full kit, triple boxed, with the wallet and 2 cards including warranty.
Retailing at $17,400 + tax, the watch is in mint condition, with no marks on the case, minimal if any wear on the strap, no marks on the buckle.
I’m offering this at $10,950 f2f GTA or shipped across Canada.
I can entertain some lateral trades or trades down.
