Up today I have one of my favourite new releases from Omega, the Speedmaster ‘57 ref 332.10.41.51.10.001
Coming in at 40.5mm, it wears really well on most wrists under 7.2” wrists, but depending on your comfort would work on a wrist up to 7.5”
The micro-adjustable clasp comes in handy during our summer months and is a welcome addition to the speedmaster lineup.
The green dial is likely my favourite iteration of the ‘57 lineup and is just as legible as the black dial variant which I have also had, though the lume and legibility in low light situations is slightly better on this model.
The bracelet has a wonderful taper from 20mm to about 16mm.
The links are slim and not obtrusive, easily sized and well articulated.
The bi compax register provides a better readability than the tri compax layout and the jump hour hand is nice touch by Omega.
The date complication makes for an added value and the applied Omega logo at 12 is something I’ve always missed on other Speedies, and is a welcome addition on this lineup.
I’ve tried to find any blemishes on Tia watch and have found none, from case tk bracelet to crystal.
I’d venture to say it’s in mint condition but to err is human so I will list it at 9.5/10 to accommodate for error, conservatively.
At $11,800 retail, the watch is a tough pill to swallow, whereas my ask at $10.250 f2f in the GTA or plus shipping for this near mint example is a substantial discount unlikely to be experienced at an AD.
Cash is always king but trades are welcome
