Up for grabs is my favourite, simplest and in my opinion, one of the most easily paired configuration from the DJ41 lineup.
While black and blue dials are commonplace in most collections, the slate dial is a rare commodity, compounded by it’s superfluous yet impeccable execution which shows just the right amount of restraint while boasting an elegance through its sunburst texture.
While it’s arguable that a jubilee bracelet must be paired with a fluted bezel, I’ve found it can be a touch too limiting as a dress watch, while in this format with a fluted bezel and an oyster bracelet, against a slate dial, it makes for a casual yet dressy watch, as and when the occasion calls for it.
There is some minor wear to the links from desk diving, case sides have minor hairlines as does the clasp. The bezel and crystal remain flawless and the watch comes as a full set including the hang tag.
There are a total of 12 links, not including end links or the links attached the clasp, 6 of which have screws.
For a quick deal, I’m asking $15750 shipped for this beauty. Some trades down can be considered (Speedmasters, Seamasters, Cartier Tank/Santos, Panerai etc)
