Up for sale is my Sinn U50S, with a black hard coating to the case and crown on a tegimented technology basis.
Essentially this PVD coating would not be possible without the base material first being tegimented, which as I understand is done from the surface inwards. As such it is extremely scratch resistant. I’ve attempted (at significant risk) to scratch the caseback on a few tegimented Sinns including this one and after a a quick rub of the finger, there is no trace that there was ever a scratch applied.
The watch is just an over a year old and carries warranty until 2024 April.
It comes a full kit, in practically mint condition aside from a slight bit of wear to the corners of the clasp.
The strap has been cut but will accommodate about a 7.25”
Paired with the red rubber strap against the black canvas of the case, the pop of the red writing on the dial, the seconds hand and the red minutes hash on the bezel pop considerably more than I recall on other U50’s has
The watch comes in at a compact 41mm, with 11mm thickness, 500m water resistance, 20mm lug width and impeccable lume paired with that infamous German submarine steel.
Retail for this piece is $4400 plus tax
