Up for grabs is my SBGW293
This model unlike its other rather dressy SBGW counterparts with the pebble case, is a 36.5 mm modern re-interpretation of the original 44GS design.
The case edges and sunray pattern dial are truly the stars of the show.
Trying to capture the true tone of this dial is like asking a toddler to sit still as the colours shift with every twist of the wrist.
Some might be apprehensive of the sizing, though with a timeless time only layout, classic good looks and a brown dial that hides its character in black hues, it can just as easily pull duty as a casual piece or a classic dress watch
The sharp, diamond cut indexes and handset glisten like diamonds and offer incredible low light legibility I have yet to experience from lumed markers and handsets.
I would recommend this ideally for a wrist size up to 7”
There are very minimal signs of faint hairlines on the polished pieces from wiping off with a microfibre cloth.
The watch is a full kit with Outer/inner rectangular box, rice paper, manual, warranty card and tags.
That watch is not yet a year old retails at $6800 + tax.
