Up today I have a rare treat for the community, a 2023 example of the SLGA007 rumoured to have been sold out a while back.
The SLGA007 has an absolutely stunning deep blue dial that transitions to an indigo or vibrant blue.
It is a limited edition of 2021 pieces, fashioned out of steel.
Powering the watch is the new 9RA2 Spring Drive movement with a 5 day power reserve and accuracy to +/-0.5s a day and the power reserve indicator is now visible on the movement through the sapphire crystal case back as opposed to obstructing the dial display
Carrying the balance of 5 years of GS warranty, the watch is a few weeks old and shows a minor mark on the clasp and some hairlines to the gold medallion
The patterned dial evokes the gentle sway of the surfaces of Lake Suwa and is meant to mirror the lakes ripples and shallow waves that create a pleasing sparkle at whichever angle the dial catches the light.
The seconds hand and the GS logo are gold tone and is meant to represent the morning sunrise on the lakes surface.
The watch comes as a full kit and is a local AD purchase.
