SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks
Up for grabs is a heavily underestimated, under appreciated and underrated piece from Omega.
This Constellation from the brands previous generation is characterized by the “Griffes” or claws on the case and combines timeless elegance and sports watch chic to produce a beautiful every day timepiece with strong vintage vibes.
At 38mm the watch has a 12.5mm thickness and 41.7mm lug to lug though true lug to lug from where the end links drape downward is closer to 46mm
Channeling its inner Gerald Genta, the watch is sized for my 7.3” wrist just right and includes 2 extra links in the bag.
The watch is in overall very good used condition with minor desk marks on some links and the case flanks.
Powered by the 8500 cal movement which is the same as in the Seamaster of the same generation, the watch keeps phenomenal accuracy of +1s/day on average.
The star of the show though, is the dial and star on the dial from where the radial sunburst effect originates, a truly classy and thoughtful touch. The dial tone was advertised as bronze and falls somewhere between salmon, bronze and champagne, depending on lighting.
This example comes as a complete grey market set with triple box, hang tag, extra links, picto card, Joma warranty card with warranty until 2028 and manual.
Retail when available was over $7500
I’m asking $3299 shipped from the GTA
