Beautiful Blue Alba AKA Bullhead ACTIVE*KEEN*AGGRESSIVE
In very good and original condition, and in excellent working order, this is a nice example of the 'bullhead' style of chronograph from 1990s. The AKA models were a sub-brand of Seiko, and this particular model has a real vintage feel, with a quality, well-finished stainless steel case and bracelet (part solid link) giving it a substantial presence. The watch has no dings or major scratches, only minor marks. When I bought the watch (NOS) BBVA there was a minor pitting on the lower right side of the upper right case. This has been meticulously polished out. The glass crystal is domed with a bevelled edge and has minor scratches. The bracelet is original and all links are present with very minimal scuffing. Should fit a 7 3/4” wrist or larger. (Very rare to find in this length and condition). The quartz movement is a Seiko V657, with 1/10th, seconds, and 60 minute sub-dials. The main second hand sweeps continuously. The chronograph functions correctly and the sub-dial hands return to zero when stopped. The watch stops with the crown pulled out to the time setting position. The lume still glows nicely.
The case measures 41mm at its widest and the lug width is 18mm.
