Up for sale or trade today is a very rare and unique Blancpain that dates to a limited release of 333 pieces made in the late 90's. This watch is specifically numbered 12/333 (model reference number 3185-1542-53) with this model only coming up for sale in exceedingly rare instances (I could only find a couple ever sold on Google). This watch is made of 18k white gold with a matching folding buckle. This watch has a hunter caseback - so all of the beauty of seeing the movement with the added weight of a solid gold caseback when on the wrist. Despite the added hinge and caseback, it maintains respectable dimensions of being only 13mm thick and 38mm in diameter with 100m of water resistance, also featuring a screw down crown and chrono pushers. Housed in the case is Blancpain calibre 1185, which is a beautifully finished chrono that also has a gold rotor.
Considering this watch is over 20yrs old, it is in good shape with swirls/light scratches on the case/clasp and 2 nicks worth mentioning on the case side engraved "Blancpain" and are marked with blue arrows (not noticeable on wrist, but stated for disclosure). Crystal is clean. It comes with the original box that is also marked with its limited edition number, but does not come with any paperwork. There is a small engraving inside the case back of who I assume was the original owner. It comes on a custom made Aaron bespoke strap and also included is the gator strap I received it with.
