Sold Certina DS4 Small Seconds

Up for grabs is an unassuming daily wearer.

The Certina features an ETA2825 which is based on the workhorse ETA2824 and features a small seconds display.

Watch head is in excellent condition. Due to the highly polished case I’m having a tough time photographing the case but it is in beautiful condition. There may be some hairlines given the high polish but none visible to my eyes.

The bracelet does show some scratches which I have illustrated in pictures. Speaking of the bracelet, it has wonderfully articulating links to make it more comfortable than you would expect at this price point.
The sapphire crystal is in perfect condition.

Case here is 40mm, the thickness is my only gripe with this one at 12.5mm.
Comes with all boxes, manuals and links. Currently sized for an almost 8” wrist with one extra full link.
No warranty card is included but it is out of warranty having being purchased in August 2019. A copy of the original purchase receipt will be included.

Note, given this is a ‘DS’ or double secure, there are two gaskets on the crown which makes the crown a tougher to wind than you would expect, the winding is however smooth. This isn’t a flaw but a function of the crown where you get 100m of WR without a screw down.

I’m not looking for trades on this one since I don’t believe much else would provide such a value prop at this price, however, I will look at something which can support 22mm straps.

so much bang for buck with this piece. I’ve had it in white before and I can’t say enough great things about it. Such strong Oyster perpetual and sinn vibes here, for essentially seiko money, it’s nuts
