YEAR of PRODUCTION: 1948

ITEM CONDITION: This watch has been worn sparingly and shows very light signs of wear. The watch is has no marks what so ever. In the pictures you may see something on the side of the case but that is a hallmark. The watch was given to the last owner over 35 years ago and has basically sat in a safe. The previous owner had worn it a handful of times on the gold bracelet in the picture…. I could sell the watch with or without the bracelet as priced above. I have had my watchmaker look it over and minor oiling was given as the watch runs like a charm with very strong numbers on the machine. Clearly an extremely rare reference number as Christies, Sotheby’s and Phillips have not had one in over 10 years.
CASE SIZE: 30.5mm, 38.5mm from Lug to Lug
CASE MATERIAL: 18K Gold
STRAP SIZE: 18mm
STRAP MATERIAL: unmarked but tested a weak 18K gold, custom made for the watch and would fit a 7” wrist. You can ask for a leather strap and buy this watch for less money as stated above
WHAT'S INCLUDED: The watch on bracelet if you choose or just the watch on a generic strap
OTHER COMMENTS: This is the finest example I have seen of a watch 75 years old. It runs unreal considering its age with strong amplitude on the main spring. The engraving on the back of the case matches the engraving on the bracelet which dates the watch to 1948. The Breguet hands were very seldom used on calatrava watches and make this is collectible of a Patek philippe available.... The overall fantastic condition of this watch makes it beyond rare!
