Heuer Carrera 110.253B (mid 70’s)
I have for sale a mid 70’s Heuer Carrera this is the 110.253B with the gorgeous blue dial. The case (38.5mm)is in good condition relative to the age of the watch with a couple of good dings showing on the crown side of the case (previous owner was left handed) the pusher side is ding free. The dial as mentioned is a beautiful shade of blue in very good condition (hard to capture the richness of the colour) it has the appearance of being three panels that change the blue shade when viewed from different angles. the plexi glass crystal is in very good condition with no major scratches. The hands have a beautifully age patina and the numbers on the black sub dials are sharp, date wheel in excellent condition at 6 o’clock and the date changes as it should between 2200h and 0002h (no quick set).
All chrono functions are crisp and return to zero on the button this movement does not have a second hand therefore no hacking the chrono shows seconds (main hand), 30 minutes (sub dial) and 12 hours (sub dial) crown is on the left side of the case and the chrono pusher on the right (looking at the watch).
I have no information on service history however on the wrist for 5 days it appears to run well, the watch is currently fitted with a black Di-modell rallye strap in almost new condition.
This Carrera is offered at $3700.00
