Up for your consideration is a Z-Serial 16610LV Kermit Submariner Full Kit and Recent Rolex Service. This is the early Z-Serial Kermit without the engraved rehaut. Many purists of the Kermit prefer it to the newer ones with the engraved rehaut.
The warranty is dated 09/09/2008, and the original service papers and invoice are dated May 19, 2016. The service card was misplaced, but I spoke to the Rolex Service Centre in New York, and they assured me the service card is not needed if I needed to bring it in for any last minute service issues. But thankfully, this watch is running well within COSC specs, and everything on the watch functions perfectly.
I also had the whole watch authenticated with Rolex Service Centre in Toronto on April 19, 2018. I will include the authentication with the sale.
Please see the first pic to see what was done during service.
The Kermit insert has a light scratch around 9 o'clock and 1 o'clock. Hardly noticeable. If you feel the need to get a new Kermit insert, Rolex has quoted me $330 plus tax for one.
Also, the green box has minor damage around one hinge. It still opens and closes, but can not stay open if left up. I suppose it's an easy fix, but never spent any time trying to fix it.
Please see the last pic below for the possibilities this watch has, where you can put a blue insert and a super jubilee bracelet on it. (Both are not included in the sale)
Really sad to see this one go, as it's one of the most collectible modern Rolex pieces out there. But I'm in the process of finding a super grail, and I need to liquidate.
Offered to you at a firm price of $14,500 for a f2f transaction in the GTA.
I also offer overnight shipping with FedEx, fully insured through Parcel Pro.
I have many references on this forum. You may contact the people on my Friends List. Thank you for your consideration.
