For sale is my absolutely stunning 1961 Omega reference 14392-61, housing the well-known cal 285. All in all this watch is in fantastic condition --- the 20 micron gold case has very little brassing/wear and the movement is very clean and is keeping great time. The linen dial is completely original and is much nicer in person than how it appears in the pictures. The crown was replaced during a previous service, and the hands were likely re-lumed, but other than that the watch is all original . There is a small superficial crack near the top of the crystal, but you hardly notice it and it cannot be felt on the surface of the crystal. This watch wears quite big for a vintage Omega, particularly because of the long lugs at 42mm lug to lug, 37m across w/crown, 35mm w/o, 18mm lug width. A great addition to any collection. I have quite a bit of feedback on here, so feel free to check my references.
Fun Fact: 1961 was the year Kennedy was elected for president (he also wore an Omega).
