An all-original, full-set Breitling Jupiter Pilot Chronograph Ref A59028 on original Jupiter steel bracelet Ref 194A, all in remarkably preserved condition rarely seen, functioning flawlessly, with original Breitling bakelite inner box and Breitling fighter jet outer box, Breitling wing pin, booklets and papers showing matching serial number. My understanding is that this is one of the last-produced Jupiter Pilot models, its predecessor having the round date window vs the squared date aperture on this one.

This Breitling has the black dial with silver sub-dials. All sub-dials zero precisely. The bracelet should comfortably fit a 7.5’ wrist without opening the expansion link built into the underside of the clasp.

There are no gouges or deep scratches on the case or bracelet, only very light surface scratches or swirlies from normal, careful wear that can easily be polished out by your watchmaker, although hardly necessary as, on the wrist, this Breitling looks fantastic. The bezel is in remarkable condition for its age. Bezels on these Breitling models are often found in badly worn condition, but not on this one. There is a tiny ding on the bezel perimeter at 220 degrees (7 o’clock), although hardly noticeable unless one is looking for it.

The original manual is not available. Detailed printed operating instructions will accompany the sale. I have not tested the alarm function; however, as all functions work flawlessly, I have no reason to believe the same isn't true of the alarm. (Like most, I use my Smartphone's alarm.)

Specifications for this Breitling, obtained from Breitling Source, are:

This was the original ‘Navitimer’ model that eventually evolved into the modern Navitimer. The family resemblance is obvious. Perfect case size at 41.5, and not thick-as-a brick at only 11m in height so it wears beautifully under shirt sleeves and is very sharp with a business-suit.

Sell for $2,775 shipped insured anywhere in Canada by FedEx/Parcel Pro. Trades of equivalent value may be considered.
