Here's a stunning vintage Breitling Navitimer circa 1990, having model reference 81610 (and alternate reference A13019).
Timekeeping on this Navitimer has been excellent. Beat rate and amplitude when recently measured on my Timegrapher showed a range of 0 to -2, and 287 to 290, respectively, in the dial-up position over an extended period.
This beauty is mounted on an OEM Breitling milanese mesh bracelet with removable links, the same one Breitling places on the SuperOceans and optionally on the recent "Airline Series" Navitimers such as the Pan Am. The bracelet really makes the Navitimer shine. All links included, therefore will fit pretty much any size wrist.
Condition of the timepiece is overall excellent. The accompanying photos, taken today, tell the story. The dial is clean and unmarred. The dial markers show a creamy and dreamy patina. The sliding-scale bezel turns bidirectionally and has a pearly luster to it, matching the sub-dials. The crown winds smoothly and decisively. The date changes properly. The case has minor surface wear commensurate with age, but no major dings or deep scratches. Definitely no need to have polished. The original case back markings are faint but readable on close examination. The model and serial numbers are visible. Chrono functions work as they should, and chrono hands zero precisely.
No box/papers, but a lot of watch for the money, especially compared to what a Navitimer will cost you new.
FedEx'd to your Canadian door for $4,775 or best offer. Lowball offers will be disregarded. Absolutely no trades on this one.
Thanks for looking. Cheers
