Hi CWC members,
I promised my wife I’d thin out the collection a bit, so I’m offering my 1979 CWC 6BB/6645-99 RAF issue for sale.
I bought this watch on eBay a couple of years ago from a seller who said it came from an estate sale in BC. I can’t verify that history, but it seems plausible.
The watch appears to be an honest and original example. It has the full military caseback engravings, fixed bars, Circle T dial, and the correct manual-wind hacking movement. It is currently running well and keeping time within about +10 seconds/day in my use, though I do not know the service history and would assume it has not been serviced anytime recently.
Please study the photos carefully, as they form a big part of the description. The crystal shows wear/scratching, and the watch has the kind of age and use you’d expect from an issued piece. It comes on a very worn grey NATO that was on the watch when I acquired it.
Quick facts:
Price: $1,000 CAD shipped in Canada by expedited Canada Post.
