This watch is a prime example of Grand Seiko’s famed craftsmanship, the SBGE201. For the international traveler, this GMT conveniently provides the ability to change time zones without interrupting the one-second-per-day precision of the Spring Drive movement. The rotating bezel has a 24-hour scale, which, when used in conjunction with the GMT hand and the 24-hour ring on the dial, allows the watch to indicate three different time zones at the same time. The sapphire bezel provides a strong sense of depth to the look of the watch, and the large hands and indexes are filled generously with LumiBrite which is also featured on the bezel. Additionally, the high-quality sapphire glass on the surface of the bezel provides extra resilience against scratches.
