In collaboration with "Revolution: The Watch Magazine, Hanhart released a bronze cased version of their E 417 chronograph referred to as The Copperhead, The collaboration was limited to 200 watches and this one is #183 complete with an unworn strap, a bund pad, black leather travel case, warranty card , operating booklet and original box.
Insofar as patina is concerned, the watch case is constructed of a bronze alloy with a higher aluminum content. What this means is the watch will age more slowly and retains some brightness for a while. In preparation for sale, I have knocked back the patina a bit with a little lemon juice as part of the cleaning process. The new owner may elect to restore the case to its initial luster with a little effort or just let nature take its course, With respect to straps, I wore the watch mostly on aftermarket straps, electing not to wear it on the OEM bund strap.
