For Sale is this great quartz chronograph with a long history.
I purchased this from a Canadian dealer after coming back from a trip to Germany 4 years ago. I couldn't find any there, but I wanted an inexpensive 'Made in Germany' watch and had seen examples of this brand in in-flight magazines. Junkers has a long aviation history and this watch pays homage to a particularly hard-working airplane from the 1930s to the '50s.
The 6686-2 has a corrugated dial similar to the corrugated sheet aluminum from the Junkers JU52 "Iron Annie" airplane. The movement is a solid and reliable Ronda 5020.B quartz with a "big date" at 6:00. SuperLuminova hands and a wonderful black leather strap with contrasting stitching. It is remarkably light for a watch that's this solidly built. 42 mm x 12mm with a freshly installed battery. All chronograph features are working fine. This comes with the original box, outer box and papers. (There is some damage to the hinge on the box that was there from when it was sent.)
Normal signs of wear without any dings or major scratches.
This watch can still be purchased retail for $440 or higher.
Price: $375 + shipping. (I am not looking trade, but am willing to negotiate on price)
