This one is a catch and release for me as it is a little too fancy pants for my rough and tumble lifestyle.
This is quite a unique timepiece in the Omega line-up. I believe it is the only timepiece with a square watch-face. If you do a search on this, you will see the whimsical thought that went into this Deville. X2 – it combines both Roman and Arabic numerals. Also “X2” stands for the square watch face.
You won’t see too many of these in the wild !
This model features the co-axial movement and the serial number dates back to 2006.
The service history is unclear on this watch, but I can tell you that it has been running a solid -8 sec/24 hours, and the power reserve is very strong. It is running like it has been serviced within the last few years.
The domed sapphire crystal with multi-layered anti-reflective treatment inside seems invisible.
The watch case is in great condition and I have tried to capture every angle with some macro images. The crystal has a small scratch close to 9 oclock. Difficult to see.
This watch comes on the OEM distressed leather strap with Omega deployment buckle. Lug to Lug width is 20mm.
The detail on the lugs is incredible. All detail on the case is very crisp !
Calibre: Omega 2610
Self-winding Co-Axial escapement movement with hour, minute, central seconds-hands and big date at 3 o'clock, rhodium plated finish. Officially certified chronometer
Watch comes with Omega Red pleather box and hard-back instruction manual. No cards with this one.
I have priced this very aggressively with the thought that the new owner may want to have this serviced within the next year, and eventually replace the leather strap.
