Selling my Omega Speedmaster Apollo Soyuz 35th Anniversary Meteorite Dial Ref. 311.30.42.30.99.001
A very rare and highly collectible Omega Speedmaster Professional Soyuz 35th Anniversary featuring a striking meteorite dial. Released in 2010, this limited edition of only 1,975 pieces commemorates the historic Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) of 1975, the first international space mission between the U.S. and Soviet Union... Taking us back to a time where the Russians and Americans actually got along.
The dial is crafted from a genuine piece of Gibeon meteorite, ensuring that each watch has a completely unique pattern. Housed in the iconic 42mm stainless steel case, it retains the legendary manual-wind Caliber 1861 movement, the same lineage of movement worn on the Moon. The case back is engraved with the ASTP mission patch, highlighting its historical significance. The dial is nothing short of mesmerizing—each piece of meteorite is unique, displaying an intricate Widmanstätten pattern that shimmers under different angles of light. The natural metallic textures and cosmic origins make this one of the most visually striking Speedmaster dials ever produced. These have been becoming more and more collectible each year.
The watch was purchased in 2016 from a Canadian AD. Comes complete and full kit with all boxes papers cards, etc. Watch is in very good condition for the age with minor wear. It was worn carefully in rotation.
