Good Evening Gents,
For Sale Only is an original run Marathon SAR from 2003. This is the original that began the long line of Marathon SARs. This was issued to Canadian Armed Forces members such as Army Combat Engineer Divers, Navy Divers, Air Force Search and Rescue Technicians and Special Operations Coxswains (Our version of the SBS). These have been out of production since 2006 and very few are left that haven't had the hell kicked out of them. This is one of those few.
Dimensions are a nice wearable 41mm wide across the bezel, 48mm lug to lug, 13.6mm thick, with a 20mm lug width. Drilled lugs for easy strap changes.
The watch is in very nice condition, see attached photos. Bezel is the original 60 click version and the dial is the superluminova version with the cyclops date magnifier. Timekeeping is approx -1 sec/day on my winder. Date switches over sharply. No service history on this guy, but my guess is that it sat for a hell of a long time in a box before I got it, as the condition is very very good.
Watch comes with the original box minus the white sleeve. Includes the original rubber strap (the nicer version IMHO), as well as a brand new Maratac Zulu two piece and an eBay rubber strap with a deployant cut for an 8" wrist. It has the Canadian Maple Leaf clasp bracelet installed. Bracelet is fitted for an 8" wrist and includes an extra link.
