FS Panerai 297 GMT in Vancouver

For sale is a Panerai 297 GMT. I bought this watch from a reputable seller Watchfinder in Toronto earlier this year. It comes with all the paper work, wooden box, a card from Watchfinder, strap changing tool and screw driver. Watchfinder is a very large and reputable store in Toronto. I also took it to Otto Friedl to authenticate it. So, it is guaranteed to be authentic.

There is no scratch on the crystal. There are some scratches on the case and bezel, but nothing major. It was sent to polished after I purchased it. 297 originally comes with a metal bracelet, but I don't like the look of it, so I didn't buy the bracelet. This has been accounted for in the asking price. It also comes with a Panerai black leather strap with a tang buckle, but that strap is pretty worn. I bought a brown after market leather strap as shown in the picture.

Asking for $6200, F2F cash deal in Vancouver.

Do not meant to bump it twice in one day. Just to add, I may also be interested in a 42mm Panerai Radiomir.

I just found out there are 3 small “defects” on the AR coating. It is not noticeable unless you look for it under sunlight at an angle. Price to sell at $5300 OBO. I will also throw in 4 straps (a black crocodile, a tan, a blue and a green). The black crocodile is quite new, wear only a couple times. Those straps are after market.

No one looking for a nice Panerai in Vancouver? It looks like new at a arm length.

The straps are value added to the new owner. Although they are not OEM, they cost ~$400. The black crocodile and orange/tan strap are quite new brought from a forum member. The brown strap is from Hirsch. The blue and green are from eBay.

If you are not familiar with Panerai, here are the things I like about this watch:

- has GMT
- has 24 hr markers. The new one doesn’t have them, it seems.
- wide hands gives it a bold look
- polishes bezel contrast by the brushed case
- ETA movement for lower maintenance cost
- has the signature Luminor case and sub second dial
- low price
