For sale is my Rolex Datejust 16014 with champagne dial and white gold fluted bezel. According to its serial number, its production year is 1982. This is a 36mm watch. On a Rolex “jubilee” bracelet with five links, this watch comes with the complete outer and inner boxes, hang tag, cleaning cloth, Datejust “booklet”, and travel pouch.
It is in good vintage condition. There are no dents, but there are surface scratches on various parts of the case, which i have tried my best to capture in the attached pictures. The most noteworthy of these is on the non-crown side of the case as pictured, as well as on the back of some of the lugs due to previous strap changes. These can all easily be polished off, though I personally would not.
The bracelet is in good condition and shows some stretch though not too bad for an almost 40 year old bracelet — please see picture below.
The watch keeps good time, though i do not know its service history.
I bought this watch a few years ago from a reputable CWC member and wore it lovingly in rotation with my other watches. It is a beautiful watch that wears well on any occasion, and I am sad to let it go, but need the funds and a spot in the watch box.
Watch and me are in Montreal. No trades for this one please.
