A sad day.
posting this for sale, my birth year L serial (89) explorer II. 3185 movement. It needs to go to make room for my current collection.
This was purchased from a member of this forum, who also purchased it from another member.
The watch is all original parts. Comes with original paperwork
It has open 6’s and 9’s which adds to the appeal
The case is in beautiful, seemingly unpolished condition. All edges are clearly visible with 0 sign of steel loss.
The dial has beautiful, creamy patina. Which is very rare for this reference.
Service history:
According to the member who originally posted this watch a while ago, it was serviced by Shane Ede (very reputable Toronto watchmaker) n 2017. I have had the watch checked out by numerous watchmakers in the area and it has been confirmed that fresh service has been done.
Bracelet is in great shape, few small surface scuffs, nothing to worry about.
Looking for $6500.00 for this, OBO. Shipped and insured anywhere in Canada. I am in no rush to sell this beautiful watch
