Up for sale is this incredible MK1 1655. Serial 272xxxx. Making it very likely from the first batch of 1655's to come from Rolex in late 1971.

Dial:
Dial is flawless, except for a barely imperceptible mark just underneath the centre pinion. I have tried to capture the macro as best as possible with the lighting to enhance the shadows and it looks like a tiny flaw in the brass plate itself, and likely left the factory like that.
Case:
Case has been very lightly polished, original chamfers are still incredibly pronounced, lugs and crown guards remain thick.
Movement:
Movement is clean, and caseback shows previous RSC service markings.
Bracelet:
Original 7836 bracelet is tight, has been refreshed by Michael Young at CWR last year, and has the correct clasp stamp and 280 endlinks.
Accessories:
Box.
