For sale is a lovely platinum Daytona 116506. The king of all Rolex watches and the first to be listed on CWC unless i am mistaken.This watch was purchased at the end of 2013 at the Rolex AD in my hometown of Corner Brook, Newfoundland. I know the original owner and owner of the watch store personally.
The watch has no dings or dents and is in very good physical condition. It is of course unpolished. The bracelet is a mesh of swirls from typical desk diving and there are some swirls on the case also. It would look new with a light polish from RSC but I will leave that decision up to the owner. High definition pictures of the case are available upon request. The watch is running like a top, no concerns mechanically. Within COSC specifications.
From my research typically these watches sell privately for around 45k US on the low end (57k CAD).
My selling price is $56,000 which I think is very fair.
I am considering partial trades but prefer a cash sale.
I have bought and sold well over 50 watches on this forum with at least that many references in the positive feedback section from a variety of reputable members.
