Selling a vintage Seiko 6105-8000 dive watch, affectionately known as the Slim Willard. Production 1970. It features the highly wearable and iconic 41mm symmetrical cushion case, signed crown, bidirectional tension style countdown bezel and 19mm lugs.
This specific example is recently back from a full overhaul treatment by Ashton Tracey at Seikologist in August 2024. No expense spared full service with all associated paperwork. Running exceptionally well, as one would expect after receiving the Seikologist treatment.
The case of this Slim Willard is very good for its age with minimal wear and no major bumps or bruises. Mineral crystal is immaculate. Aluminum bezel insert has visible signs of wear but was left original and intact, as recommended by Ashton. Dial and hands were relumed by Ashton to his exacting specifications and are a mellow, creamy colour in keeping with a watch of this vintage. On a vintage style tropic rubber strap.
