Condition
This is a 62MAS with big crown. The dial is in good condition. The minute hand is missing some lume. The crystal is brand new Seiko OEM (new old stock). The caseback markings are faded, only the serial number is legible. The case shows some light scratches and swirls.
The bezel and bezel insert are original. The bezel turns nicely. The watch comes on a NOS tropic strap with new springbars. The watch has been fully serviced and keeps great time.

The 6217-8000/1, or 62MAS (autoMAtic Selfdater) was the first professional diver from Seiko in 1965. It started the diver series for Seiko that continues till today. It was the first diver in Seiko’s lineup to feature an external rotating bezel, and a water resistance of 150 meters.
