Condition

This is a 62MAS with a NOS big crown. The dial is in good condition, the hour markers are showing some corrosion. The 1 minute marker is smudged. The dial has some light marks and dots that looks like dust but it’s not (located on the left side of the seiko logo between the 10 and 11 o’clock markers). These dots are only visible at a certain angle.

The hands are original and have been relumed due to the poor condition of the old lume. The dial has not been relumed. The crystal is original and has some nicks and scratches. The case shows some scratches but is in good overall condition. The caseback markings are still visible. The bezel rotates nicely both ways as it should. The bezel insert shows some wear and is starting to fade to grey. The watch comes on a new old stock Tropic strap. The watch has undergone a complete strip and service. The dial moves slightly when pulling out the crown but doesn’t move or rattle when the crown is push down.
