Condition
This is a 62MAS with big crown. The dial and hands are in excellent shape. The bezel insert shows a little sign of wear, turns both ways as it should. The crystal is original and has some scuffs at 6 o’clock. The dial moves slightly when setting the time, this is due to the movement spacer. I've noticed this on other 62mas as well. Dial doesn't move when crown is in locked position. Besides that the watch is in beautiful condition. This is a very crispy example. Fully serviced Dec 2018. Watch comes with new and unused uncle seiko waffle strap with new spring bars.

The 6217-8000/1, or 62MAS (autoMAtic Selfdater) was the first professional diver from Seiko in 1965. It started the diver series for Seiko that continues till today. It was the first diver in Seiko’s lineup to feature an external rotating bezel, and a water resistance of 150 meters. It has recently been re-issued by Seiko with a limited run of 2000 units (Ref.SLA017).
