For sale is a special watch for Seiko enthusiasts/collectors: the Seiko SJE073J1/SARA015.
Condition: near new, worn less than 10 times. Full kit, triple boxed, hang tags, stamped card.
This watch came out in 2018 with a (rebooted) new movement, the 4Hz front loaded cal. 6L35, the first of the current three Seiko’s to feature it. The JDM reference is SARA015.
The movement started as 4L25/4L75 in Credor models and later the Soprod A10.
The watch was limited to 1881 pieces worldwide. This is number 1720. It weighs 133gm and has a 20mm lug width. This new movement allows the watch to be 9.76mm thin.
It’s an absolutely gorgeous and comfortable piece colloquially called the “Baby Snowflake”…although it’s frosted textured dial is not at all like the snowflake. Heat blued second hand with impeccable fit and finish, Zaratsu polish, milled clasp, framed date, signed crown. A top-of-the-line Presage in every respect.
Seiko really thought this piece through. They could have used bracelets from the closest relative (SARX055) but they even took care to thin the bracelet links to match the case proportions.
There are many good reviews of the watch online.

The watch was expensive for a Seiko and retailed for C$2,695. No one was offering discounts so I’m in full-pop on this one north of $3K. There are about 15 available for sale on Chrono24 using both JDM and ROW model numbers; recognizing that this portal is on the more expensive side of the pre-owned market. The average price for these is C$2,739 including some cheaper ones (with signs of wear) and NIB outliers.
Priced at $2475. Local pick up GTA preferred. I can ship using buyer’s preferred method for the cost of shipping + insurance if desired.
Thanks for looking and happy to send more photos or information.
