Catch and release for me, a first generation Steinhart Ocean 44 with the Sapphire bezel dated April 2016. A well done homage to the Rolex DSSD.
This has the really cool sapphire bezel with the index underneath, so as the light changes the index appears and disappears, with the bezel going jet black. I captured it in the photos.
Comes on the bracelet (solid end links) with extra links, box, papers and hang tag.
Condition is good, it was obviously a daily wearer with scuffs and a couple of dings here and there. Sapphire crystal is perfect. There is a slight foggy ring thing going on under the bezel insert, either adhesive or water marks I can’t tell. Replacement inserts are available from Steinhart (in ceramic as well) if it’s bothersome to you. No signs of water ever getting into the watch though, it’s a diver after all. All that said it in no way looks beat up or abused.
A great choice for a classy dive watch that you can wear without worry.
