For sale is my Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military (OVM), bought direct from Steinhart by me in July 2013 (please see my receipt in one of the pictures). No trade please. I'm selling because I find myself gravitating toward smaller watches more and more. With my 6.8" wrist, 42mm has always been at the upper end of what I can carry in my opinion. This is the first generation OVM with the "660 ft = 200m" dial. Some specs here:
- 42mm diameter (without crown), 22mm lug width
- Domed sapphire crystal with AR coating
- 120-click uni-directional bezel, awesome solid action
- ETA 2824 automatic movement that is reliable and easy to service
Other than the normal desk diving marks on the clasp (see pictures), the only blemish I can find is a ding on the ceramic bezel at the 23-minute mark, and one at the 15 min mark. I have tried very hard to accentuate these marks in my pictures so you know what you're getting. But in real life, those blemishes are not noticeable (see the top down shots).
With the watch, I will include 4 extra straps for free because this is the last 22mm lug watch that I have. One blue rubber Fossil strap, one khakis nato, one bond nato, and one brown leather 5-ring zulu. It will be shipped in its original box. I'll also include all links, hang tag and booklet. I'm looking for $580 CAD EMT'd and shipped.
Also, if interested, I have a 22mm Worn and Wound Model 1 Horween strap in Crimson that fits this watch perfectly.
