Putting this one back up,

Here we have the last of the Tudor Submariners ever produced in great condition.

I bought this watch from an acquaintance about a year ago in plans of keeping it as an investment but as things keep changing in life, so do my priorities.

This is the reference 79190 with Canadian Guarantee papers. Only difference between this and the 79090 is that this has a sapphire crystal. This, being one of the last produced, says only Prince Date under Tudor rather than Prince Oysterdate but retains the Rolex caseback and crown.

The watch is super clean and has never been polished. Hands, dial and bezel insert are original and mint with a light creamy patina coming on the tritium lume. It was originally purchased as a recreational dive watch and was used as such for about a year. After hitting the bezel against some reef, the original owner put it back in its box and there it sat until I came along talking about watches.

As for notable condition issues; Folded link bracelet has a deformation in 1 link from where the bracelet has been adjusted. These folded bracelets are problematic in this regard. There is one small scratch in the crystal near the 25 minute marker and a small gouge in the bezel from where the watch hit the reef. Otherwise, everything is sound and near mint on this watch.

I had this mechanically serviced in January by an indipendant watchmaker and it's running very well between +4 and +6 seconds a day with great amplitude. I'm sure this will slow down in the next while as it hasn't been worn more than a week since service.

Full kit comes with the original purchase receipt warranty papers, anchor, instructions, extra links, boxes, even the caseback stickers.

Priced at $8000 firm, which includes shipping. Only trade considered would be a Rolex Milgauss Z Blue. These watches are good investment as they are only going to keep going up in value with the production numbers being as low as they were.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Barry

I would like to see this watch stay in Canada so am lowering the shipped price to $7750. I will now consider other Rolex, IWC and JLC trades for this one as well

Need this gone, $7650 shipped. You wont find this cheaper, even without the full kit!

Really don't want to see this one leave Canada but I'm getting some solid offers from overseas. $7500 keeps this one here, may be your last chance

If this had the crown on the dial it would have gone for double within a week. I listed it abroad and within 24 hrs it's now ON HOLD for a gentleman in Australia for my original asking price. Really would have liked to have seen it stay in Canada but at least we'll have plenty of $20k Batmans [emoji19]
